Coma is a completely new Club Culture concept founded by Doubleffe
Coma was born on the 3rd of December 2010 as a platform for new and talented artists to develop and emerge alongside well-known artists who hardly performed in the U.K. Our desire has always been to achieve our goals in a tasteful manner, creating an atmosphere that can enable both devoted dancers and laid-back listeners to equall
y enjoy the sounds that we love, as well as helping them discover new and inspiring ones, with a watchful and attentive eye to social, economic, educational, environmental and health thematics that are close to us. Our vision is to become the creative music hub for people in the United Kingdom, and around the world. Since the 22nd of October 2011, Coma has relocated to London finding even greater success thanks to our ground-breaking music and events but also thanks to people's passion and support in what we believe in. In 2014, Coma Agency was born, with the intention to keep on developing exciting artists alongside established ones and create a vibrant artistic family. In 2016, Coma exported its vision to the U.S.A., to celebrate its 6th Anniversary with a series of exclusive events in New York City. Yet, after a number of years of club-only events, it felt the need to bring its own take, and love, for Techno music to intimate spaces, where music is the main focus, records stores. With no entry fees, limited space, and quality music, this new adventure (Coma In-Store) aimed at showcasing the talent and eclecticism of our artists. After 6 years since launching Coma, Founder and CEO Doubleffe announced the birth of Coma Records, with a four tracks V/A EP entitled "Unconsciousness Part I". The EP was the first in a series of V/A releases with tracks by Doubleffe himself, and a number of his closest friends and collaborators. These included Ritzi Lee, Detroit Techno Militia, JoyB, and many others. The release was then followed by a 4-track EP entitled "Symptoms EP", characterized by a minimalistic approach that looks at the early Detroit Techno movement to which Doubeffe was always mainly inspired by. After more than a year from its last release, Coma Records returned with a 4 track EP by Doubleffe, entitled “Rebellion”, a radical fistful of electronic beats, funk and political messages.
