Bio:
MAXIMILIAN (Massimo Licari) was born in 1972 in San Gavino Monreale, Sardinia, Italy. His musical journey began in the mid-1980s through the sounds of New Wave, followed by a lifelong passion for vinyl collecting that started in 1989. From there, he immersed himself in the worlds of House, Acid House, Balearic Beat, Detroit House, and Chicago House, developing a deep appreciation for undergro
und electronic music and dance culture. His distinctive musical vision quickly attracted the attention of club promoters and venue owners, leading to the start of his DJ career in 1993. Throughout the 1990s, Maximilian refined a unique sound rooted in Deep House and House Music, becoming a regular presence in Sardinia’s club scene and performing at numerous events and festivals across the island. In 2000, he launched the radio show *House Mission*, dedicated to sharing underground house music and promoting a culture of positivity, discovery, and musical freedom. In 2004, he founded the *Minimal Hospital* project, supporting and showcasing emerging and established artists from the international electronic music scene. Over the years, he has performed at renowned events and parties including Metropolitan Groove, Circoloco UK, and M+H. After relocating to London, Maximilian further expanded his musical knowledge through formal studies in music technology, sound design, music theory, piano, and electronic music production, earning professional certifications and refining his artistic approach. In 2021, he founded *EVIDEON Studio Records*, a UK-based vinyl label dedicated to authentic analogue electronic music and inspired by the timeless spirit of the underground sounds of the 1990s. Today, Maximilian continues to work as a producer, DJ, sound designer, and label owner, collaborating with artists and record labels while creating music that celebrates vinyl culture, analogue craftsmanship, and the enduring legacy of underground electronic music.
