🎶Join the Opera Gala Chorus🎶

Calling all singers across London!

We’re inviting you to be part of the Pegasus Opera Community Chorus and perform alongside a 55-piece orchestra, Pegasus Opera soloists, and fellow amateur singers in front of audiences of 1,000+ people.

✨ Repertoire includes:
• Turandot – Perche tarda la luna, Act II Finale & Nessun Dorma
• Die Fledermaus – The Champagne Song & Bruderlein
• Candide – Make Our Garden Grow

This project is best suited to singers who are comfortable learning music independently. Sheet music and listening resources will be provided in advance, and we encourage you to familiarise yourself with the music before rehearsals.

Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We’re still smiling after two magical evenings of ‘Windrush Migrations’. 💛🎶

At the end of last month, we celebrated the journeys and lasting legacy of the Windrush generation, sharing stories through music that continue to inspire, connect and resonate today.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the Broadway Theatre and Lambeth Assembly Hall. Your support, warmth and enthusiasm made these performances truly special.

Meet our incredible line up of artists for Milaap मिलाप: From Raga to Aria — Celebrating Music, Movement and Community!

In celebration of South Asian Heritage Month, join us for an evening where Western classical meets Indian classical, presented by Pegasus Opera Company and curated by Sandeep Gurrapadi.

Set within light and movement, the performance brings together opera, Indian classical music, Indian classical dance and chamber music, placing South Asian musical heritage in conversation with operatic tradition.

Led by a predominantly female creative team, the evening also features music almost exclusively by women composers from across the world!

Step into a magical opera adventure, a lively, interactive experience specially created for children and their families.

Suitable for ages 5+ with parental supervision, you are also invited (if you wish) to come dressed as explorers!

Led by a dynamic facilitator, two professional opera singers, and a live pianist, this joyful session invites you to meet the performers, hear their incredible voices up close, and become part of the action.

Opera Uncovered | 6:30pm - 7:45pm

Join us on a magical operatic journey from Mozart to Rossini, with a dash of Gershwin, in the beautiful setting of the Secret Garden.

We are delighted to introduce the 26/27 cohort of mentees for this year’s Opera Mentoring Programme! 🎶

Over the coming year, these twelve outstanding singers will receive tailored coaching, mentorship from leading opera professionals, and industry insight, all designed to support the next step in their careers.

This initiative continues to play a vital role in nurturing talent, expanding representation, particularly among those from global majority backgrounds, and shaping a more inclusive future for the opera industry.

Our Opera Mentoring Programme is in association with Glyndebourne and generously supported by Arts Council England, Laidlaw Opera Trust, Katie Bradford Arts Trust, Scops Arts Trust, Idlewild Trust and Thriplow Charitable Trust.

✨Croydon Harmony in Concert✨

What a truly special and joyful afternoon of music, community and celebration💛

A huge thank you to everyone who made this event so incredible - our amazing Croydon Harmony Choir (in their very first performance!) led by Christina Carty and our brilliant Brixton Community Choir led by Florence Cheng. The phenomenal soprano Danielle Kamilah Williams, the vibrant Endurance Steel Orchestra led by Roury Hinds, and our wonderful pianists Waiyin Lee and Robert Adoo Kissi-Debrah.

And of course, thank you to our fantastic audience for our first concert at St Stephen's - we can't wait to be back!

This project has been a real celebration of community, culture and connection through music - supported by Croydon Council through the Croydon Loves You 2025 Fund.
