✨ Firefly turns ONE ✨

One year of movement, courage, laughter, rehearsals, performances, new friendships, and many little moments that brought us here. 🤍

What started as a small idea has slowly grown into a community of people brought together by a shared love of dance.

We’re still at the beginning, still learning, still growing, and still dreaming.

Thank you to everyone who has danced with us, supported us, watched us perform, or simply cheered us on along the way.

One year in, and so much more to come. 🦋

✨ Firefly 一歲了 ✨

這一年，有舞蹈、有勇氣、有笑聲；
有一次次排練、一場場演出、新的相遇，還有許多細小卻珍貴的片段，慢慢把我們帶到今天。🤍

從最初一個小小的念頭，Firefly 一步一步成長，也聚集了一群因為熱愛舞蹈而走在一起的人。

我們仍然在起點，仍在學習、成長，也仍然懷抱著很多夢想。

謝謝每一位曾與我們一起跳舞、支持我們、看過我們演出，或在沿途為我們打氣的人。

第一年完成了，而前面，還有很長很精彩的路。🦋

✨ Jasmine’s Dance Story ✨

In Part One, Jasmine shared how her journey with Chinese dance first began.

At Firefly, we’re passionate about bringing people together through dance, creativity, and cultural exchange. It was so lovely to see everyone trying something new, connecting with one another, and simply enjoying the experience.

Different dance styles. One community.

Back in June, we held a Dance Exchange Workshop with .la.vie , bringing Chinese and Latin dance together through movement, music and cultural exchange. 💃✨🌏

Through learning and experiencing each other’s dance styles, we explored different movement qualities, rhythms and cultural traditions, while also discovering unexpected similarities and connections.

We hope this workshop gave everyone the opportunity to learn from one another, appreciate a different dance culture, and come together through the shared language of dance. 🤝

喺六月，我哋同 .la.vie 舉辦咗一場中國舞 × 拉丁舞交流工作坊，透過舞蹈、音樂同身體語言，讓兩種文化相遇。💃✨🌏

大家透過互相學習同體驗彼此嘅舞蹈風格，探索唔同嘅動作特色、節奏同文化背景，同時亦發掘兩者之間意想不到嘅共通點同連結。

希望今次工作坊可以讓大家互相認識、互相欣賞，並透過舞蹈呢種共同語言，走近彼此嘅文化。🤝
