A note from Gabbie & Amy at Tethered Wits 🎭

After several wonderful years of creating theatre together, we have decided to bring Tethered Wits to a close so that we can each pursue new opportunities. We’re so proud of the shows we’ve made and hugely grateful to everyone who supported us along the way. This page will remain live as an archive of our work, and we’ll also share updates here about our future ventures. So if you’re looking for more fantastic, high-quality theatre, keep an eye out for what comes next! 👀

In the meantime, Amy is thrilled to be continuing her studies at the Royal Academy of Music before performing in several operas over the Summer 2026 Season.

Gabbie is pleased to be starting Alfresco Actors , an open-air touring theatre company, alongside continuing her work in the West End.

We’re thrilled that thanks to generous donations from our audiences this summer, we’ve raised over £6,000 for our partner charities: and Focus!

Emily’s Gift is an appeal launched by Julie Kent MBE under the umbrella of the Pied Piper Charity.
Their mission is to raise £500,000 to fund a psychologist on the Emily Kent Unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for 10 years. No child should ever experience cancer. Any generous donations will help to provide professional emotional support for children and their families in Gloucestershire to help them cope with the trauma.

Focus is the charitable fund for the Gloucestershire Oncology Centre, raising funds which directly provide extra care, specialist equipment and improvements to facilities for local cancer patients.

As the weather changes and summer truly draws to a close, we wanted to reflect on the fantastic achievement of our Tethered Wits Academy this summer!

Their ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ production of The Importance of Being Earnest took the Cotswolds by storm, delighting audiences with Wilde’s wit and humour!
