Sadie Coles HQ London-based contemporary art gallery representing established and emerging international artists. Sadie Coles HQ opened in April 1997.

The gallery focuses on presenting the work of established and emerging international artists. The gallery's inaugural exhibition of new paintings by American painter John Currin was mounted in parallel to a show by British artist Sarah Lucas, The Law, in St John Street. This established the international dimension of the gallery's programme. Sadie Coles HQ has operated from a variety of distinctive spaces since its inception, as well as mounting off-site projects in different locations. On view: Meriem Bennani, Agnes Scherer and Martine Syms — Den Frie

Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art’s current group exhibition ‘Nervetråde’is on view until Sunday 01 November 2026, featuring Agnes Scherer’s sculpture, ‘Lit de Sirène’, 2024, Meriem Bennani and Orian Barki’s film, ‘2 Lizards’, 2020, and Martine Sym’s film, ‘DED’, 2021.

Nervetråde (Nerve Fibers) revolves around the grotesque, tracing threads from the nervous sensibility of literature around 1900, when Den Frie was founded, to the frayed nerves of contemporary art. The exhibition brings together works by Danish and international artists whose works pulse with the unease and strangeness running through our time.

Performance: Monster Chetwynd — Eesti Rahva Muuseum | Estonian National Museum
 
In conjunction with Monster Chetwynd’s current exhibition A Feather in Your Hat! at the Estonian National Museum, Tartu, the artist will present a two-hour performance tomorrow, Saturday 3 October, as part of the museum’s NIGHT26 evening.

The artist’s first solo exhibition in New York, ‘Arrivederci, Piggies!’ is on view at the New Museum, until 31 January 2026.

The exhibition brings together three of the artist’s recent films alongside the newly commissioned work Krapfen (2025), produced by the New Museum in collaboration with Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Lafayette Anticipations, the Renaissance Society, and the Vega Foundation.

“Arthur Jafa: I Am Tony,” the largest survey of the artist’s work to date, is now on view at the New Museum, New York until 04 January 2026. Through prolonged and thoughtful engagement with social media, internet culture, cinematic history, and popular music, Jafa wields an arsenal of images to communicate the complexities of contemporary Black life, along with the way it is both imagined, commodified, and consumed.
