From it's spiritual home at Cambridge Junction, Ska Train Festival is considered to be one of the most exciting new Ska festivals in the UK. Conceived by Promoters Pure Music Live, we are proud to have worked with some amazing artists and DJ's, and we openly encourage new artists to get in touch with us if they are looking to play their first festival. With two rooms and a capacity of over 1.000,

three bars and a stage that has seen some major artists come and go, the venue offers everything the festival goer would want and more but without the need to put up that tent or walk knee deep in mud !! We also benefit from the brilliant facilities which are also located on the leisure park, inc The Travelodge which is right next door. All aboard the Ska Train to Cambridge !!

So we had a brilliant day onboard the beautiful Thames Cruiser “ Dixie Queen “ working with LISF and Punk legends , The Buzzcocks, hanging out with Steve Diggle ( Lead Vocals ) and Manny ( Vocals / Guitar ).

Great Crowd, lapping it up with tunes spun by NANKER P & Sean Flowerdew and of cause Classic Track “ Ever Fallen In Love”. Interesting conversations were had with the bands management, who also look after Essex Icons “ The Rifles “.

Whilst we are still committed to Ska, Reggae & 2Tone, we can confirm that we taking a step back in time and will be looking to work with more mainstream artistes - exciting details to be announced shortly - watch this space or watch the FB PAGE

Reaching out to all our followers in Northampton, it’s as if we haven’t been away !!

Huge thanks to you all and all your requests for Ska Train Festival to come to roadmender for our return gig - it’s certainly food for thought!

What we can say, is that plans are being made with conversations being had. Things will look and sound a little different with new faces coming on board and some old skool artists getting in on the action !

Are you up for it ?? If so then let us know who you would like to see appear at our return gig !

We are able to confirm that Ska Train Festival & Pure Music Live are teaming up with Sean Flowerdew ( LISF) to help deliver Aprils offering of The London International Ska Festival and believe me it’s going to be one hell of a Festival and certainly one not to miss out on !

So for purveyors of Reggae, Ska & Rocksteady this is brilliant news! MEMBERS Of Brilliant Essex Based NEWTOWN KINGS are back with new project Sound system 79 and they sound awsome.

We were lucky enough to work alongside NTK when we played The Junction in Cambridge a while ago alongside Pauline Black & Selecter - Let’s see what the Future holds ?? We would love to work with them again 👍👍
