Bright Young Things: A New Musical A new musical by Dylan Wynford that chronicles the story of six twenty-somethings trying to find their place in the world.

Fuelled by acoustic-punk music, it evokes the nostalgia of a twenty-something retrospective. Remember what it feels like to be in your twenties? Six twenty-somethings are trying to find their place in the world, trapped between the confines of student life and the “the real world”. Things become more complex after a death shakes the group to the core. Leaving them to wonder what it truly means to

be bright and young? An actor-musician musical, fuelled by acoustic-punk music that evokes the nostalgia of a twenty-something retrospective. A musical developed whilst Wynford was studying at Mountview. The piece was presented as a fifteen-minute r***e at The Lowdown scratch night (Rich Mix, Shoreditch). Subsequently the musical has had a rehearsed reading, this was workshopped with a group of Mountview students.

Congrats to our fantastic cast and creatives for their hard work over the past few weeks, their work transported the piece leaps and bounds and we couldn’t have done it without you all!
