Lauderdale House Lauderdale House is situated in Waterlow Park on Highgate Hill, North London.

Built in 1582 and set in the beautiful Waterlow Park, Lauderdale House now runs primarily as an arts and education centre, welcoming over 65,000 visitors each year. Our varied programme includes performances, exhibitions, classes and events as well as weddings, parties and receptions, which together bring this historic building to life. There is also a lively restaurant offering delicious modern British cuisine, tea, coffee, cakes and snacks throughout the week (excluding Mondays). Join the Mayor of Camden for a special evening celebrating the remarkable career of acclaimed actress Ann Mitchell, in support of the Mayor of Camden’s Charity of the Year, Women at The Well.

Hosted by actress Martina Laird, the evening will explore Ann’s extraordinary career across theatre, television and film, including her much-loved television roles in Widows and EastEnders.

The evening will support Women at the Well, a specialist charity supporting women affected by prostitution, trafficking, sexual exploitation, domestic abuse and homelessness.

Based in King’s Cross, Women at the Well provide practical support, advocacy and outreach to women across London.

Saxophonist Julian Nicholas brings his quartet to Lauderdale House on Thursday 8 October - the first of our Jazz in the House series this autumn.

With Mark Edwards on piano, Nigel Thomas on bass and Winston Clifford on drums, this quartet's musical connections stretch back some 40 years.

Lauderdale's Young Research & Interpretation Collective is returning for its 3rd year and we have 10 spots available for Y12 students.

As a local history research project, you'll have the chance to refine your research and archiving skills, hear from professionals in the field and create your own exhibition and podcast episode as outcomes.

Sessions will run on Tuesdays from 4.30-6.30pm between 13 October and 8 December.

On Sunday 4 October, these three distinctive voices present 'Three of a Kind', featuring some of the great standards from the jazz repertoire.

Expect warmth, swing, beautiful melodies and plenty of personality as the three singers move through a varied selection of standards, each choosing songs that reflect their own musical style and connection with the repertoire.

The afternoon will also be supporting World Child Cancer, with profits going towards the charity's work supporting children with cancer and their families around the world.
