La Demoiselle de Céramique 🍪

I first had a different plan for this one (see the previous post).
But now that I’ve met her in person, I’m thinking she looks rather neat perched on the brim of a mug, holding the biscuits while waiting for a teabag to drop.

I’m conflicted!

La Demoiselle de Céramique 🍃

I do love a good bit of functionality in a sculpture. At first, this one was intended to be a planter.
But now that she’s finally here, I’m having doubts.

(Another function in the next post.)

Which one speaks to you more?

Les Demoiselles de Céramique 💅

My dear friends Katarzyna Hermanowicz Ola Kozera got me this gorgeous flower vase from Anna Olter-Smolnicka •Ceramika •Warsztaty | Rzeszów for my birthday, so naturally I had to make her some company.

Celebrating the feminine body in clay was a deeply satisfying experience, and a surprising one at that - I would never have guessed I would enjoy shaping the knees so much 🙈

Comment 🦵 to show some love for the less celebrated body parts 😂

The Chalice of Whimsy 🏆☕️

The kiln gods have been merciful!

My efforts have been rewarded with a new way to enjoy my morning coffee - with a splash of Gothic charm.

And honestly, who doesn’t love a stained glass window… even if only on a mug? 🌈

The wonderfully atmospheric photo by proves that wrong, and my watercolour follows suit.

The Long-tailed Tit 🪶

The moment I saw the marvellous shots of this fluffy fellow by I knew I wanted to paint him.
And so I did, enjoying it greatly!

My phone claims I did a decent job — do you?

Future freesias 💐

Spring seems a bit skittish this year. While I’m still waiting for the ones in the garden, I can at least make some flowers bloom on paper.

And that’s one less for Missing Bujo Entry Pages 💪
