My first ever Ad! For a smart lighting product that doesn’t exist.. at least not yet!

Liquid Clouds ☁️

Light That Gets You - turns smart lighting into a playful, intuitive companion by rethinking a familiar command: “Lights out.” A man leaves his apartment for a date, casually saying the phrase. Everything powers down—except his lamp, which subtly pulses, hinting it understood something more.

Moments later, walking through the dark city, the lamp appears above him, following like a loyal buddy and lighting his path. It hasn’t just switched off—it’s taken the command literally and gone out.

At a dim restaurant, where menus are barely readable, the lamp arrives uninvited, transforming the atmosphere.

Light that gets you shows that this technology doesn’t just respond—it behaves like a thoughtful companion, anticipating needs, and proving that even everyday objects can feel surprisingly alive and human.

U.F.A. (Unidentified Flying Art) 🛸 by Vlad Tenu. As seen in Paris, New York, Tokyo and London

U.F.A. is a short film exploring how illusion and natural beauty shape human perception, imagining art as something generated by mechanisms of nature itself—through the transformation of matter across scales, from molecular structures to galaxies. The film follows a surreal premise: an impersonal creative force emerging from a new form of intelligent matter capable of producing extraordinary, artificial-natural phenomena across the world.

In U.F.A., nature-inspired designs are released from the constraints of scale and physical possibility. Reimagined as autonomous creative entities, these forms appear across landscapes and cities, interacting with people and everyday activities like mysterious artistic presences.

*The film draws from two earlier concepts: Molecular Splash, a proposal selected for the Amsterdam Light Festival, and Liquid Cloud, an immersive pavilion exploring the idea of daydreaming. Both share a central intuition: the universe repeats the same choreography across its scales—from atoms to stars. Their forms are shaped by natural forces, while light gives them presence, expression, and the ability to communicate
emotion—the essential language of what we call art.

The film follows a surreal premise: an impersonal creative force emerging from a new form of intelligent matter capable of producing extraordinary, artificial-natural phenomena across the world.

The project originated from two unrealised proposals* and became a creative response to shrinking cultural budgets and the growing shift of experience from physical space to social media—where reality and fiction increasingly merge into a continuous visual stream. ALVEOLATA 2.6.A.
A collectible light sculpture for double-height and architectural spaces.

This sculptural statement piece is designed to enhance architectural interiors, existing either as a suspended sculptural work or as a luminous installation with integrated lighting.

Digitally generated through an algorithm inspired by natural growth systems, the form balances
precision with organic complexity. Each work is hand-made in thin birch plywood, celebrating material warmth, craftsmanship, and the interaction of light at architectural scale.

The piece is suited to tall living spaces, hotel lobbies, restaurants, stairwells, offices, and gallery or showroom environments, where it acts as a spatial focal point rather than a conventional lighting object. Its modular structure allows it to be customised through commission, responding precisely to scale, context, and spatial intent.

The work was exhibited at the Royal Academy’s 2025 Summer Exhibition in London and is available as the first piece in a limited edition, or as a bespoke, site-specific commissioned installation.
