🌕Happy Mid-Autumn Festival

Thank you for everyone joining our September craft workshop! 🤗

We combined soft pastels with ink calligraphy to share our memories and feelings about the Mid-Autumn Festival. It was lovely to see everyone’s thoughts come to life on paper. 🖌️

This Sunday I visited the Art Exhibition held by , and it brought me to exploring this beautiful vineyard.

The exhibition was full of inspiring artwork, created by so many talented artists. The vineyard itself was just as enjoyable. Beautiful surroundings, freshly roasted coffee, a lovely farm shop with delicious hand-crafted ice-cream.

Thank you for the wonderful show and a relaxing weekend well spent.

🎨 Summer Holiday is here! ☀️

Here’s a little look back at some of the brilliant artwork our young artists created this term. I’m so proud of how much they’ve grown and all they’ve achieved.

This term, our students explored the techniques of printmaking. By making their own relief plates, they experienced how engraving images can be transformed into printable surfaces.

Love to see everyone enjoy the new art form and I really appreciate everyone’s patience and hard work in completing this project.

✨Shine Carving Workshop

It’s great to keep exploring new crafts, make and learn together. Last month, we tried doing shine carving art, which is originated from Japan, using carving tools to bring out different textures and styles , and the carved patterns reveal beautiful textures through the lights.

Small but meaningful gift ✨

Wooden hanging decorations were created as retirement gift for teachers and colleagues who worked with a school teacher through the years. Each piece carrying handwritten messages and heartfelt blessing.

After a busy week of exhibitions, we finally took some time to try something fun and practical ✨

We experimented with shrink plastic to create unique little pieces, including keychains and magnets. Watching them shrink down was honestly so amazing! After shrinking down, the designs became more delicate and detail, making them more cute!
