We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us at The London Pumpkin Patch this year. As local parents ourselves, we set out to create something community-driven — a little bit of countryside magic right here in the city — and most importantly, a safe way for children to enjoy Halloween away from busy streets and traffic.
While we couldn’t offer the vast fields of a big farm, we hoped our park-based patch brought a touch of autumn joy to children and families from Hammersmith & Fulham and beyond. Your support, smiles, and laughter made the whole event so special, and we’d love to do it again next year — with your help and feedback. We know that family days out can quickly add up, and a few people have mentioned the cost of attending. We’ve really tried to keep things as affordable as possible while still covering the essentials that make the event safe and enjoyable — from hiring and fencing the park to staffing, facilities, and the small matter of bringing in over 15,000 pumpkins!
Most farm-based patches can cost £10, plus extras for food and pumpkins, so our £6 entry was designed to stay fair and family-friendly. Our aim was simply to create a pumpkin patch experience — a park full of pumpkins where children could play, explore, and enjoy the season — rather than an all-inclusive theme park.
