Have you ever had a dream that felt more real than reality? A memory of a place you've never been?
From my novella, THE UNBECOMING:
"That night, I dreamed of a girl. Her image came to me in fragments of feeling and blurred light. She stood barefoot at the very edge of the cliff, her simple, slightly rustic dress billowing in salt-stiff wind... I could not see her face, but I knew her. Knew her like an unfinished sketch the hand remembers before the mind does. She hummed a tune I didn't recognize, yet my breath caught as if I had sung it myself. It was a melody of loss, familiar and deep, a child's song."
