Fancy Thursday with The New Cross Dresser The Crypt, 30 Prescot St, E1 8BB

Hot on the heels of their recent appearance at Magic Theatre we have further news of great cheer. Disembarking from the good ship Serendipity with aplomb, some cracking ideas and ridiculously long legs, The New Cross Dresser (TNCD), is a shapely bundle of talents - compere, kabarettist, raconteur, songbird, and variety show host to name but a few - who will delight, amuse and inspire an audience with their very own evening of entertainment.
With a mission of ‘hosiery for all’ (which is enthusiastically endorsed but far from essential) and ably assisted by the gorgeous Sydney Dow-Jones, TNCD spans the arc between the erudite and the spicy, promising music, laughter, and provocative solutions to age old issues. There are plenty more personas under the dancing feathers of that stylish Hatinator to enjoy, seasoned with guest performances from emerging talents. Crafted as a spirited evening of jubilation and pride in an atmosphere of happy camaraderie you may ask ‘Who is the New Cross Dresser?’ There’s only one way to find out!
