Middlesex University announces an agreement with leading UK film service FilmFixer to manage filming projects at its Hendon campus and StoneX facilities

British band Wolf Alice are firmly in the spotlight in 2026 - winning Group of the Year for the second time at the BRIT Awards in February, and performing on the newly launched SNL UK in March.

Last year, they filmed with us in Haringey for their track The Sofa. The video sees a sofa gliding through everyday London life. It was shot entirely in-camera and on location in the borough, with Myddleton Road playing a starring role.

There’s a real community feel to the finished product, from the street-level setting to the mixture of people and shop fronts. There's a sense of place that’s hard to replicate on a closed set, and we love seeing North London in the spotlight!

Introducing Barts North Wing - a breath-taking space at Bartholomew's Hospital, now exclusively managed by FilmFixer!

The Great Hall offers awe-inspiring interiors and an ornate plaster ceiling whilst the Hogarth Stair is just calling out to be the backdrop for something truly iconic. Art aficionados might recognise the spectacular floor-to-ceiling William Hogarth murals 👀

You might have spotted glimpses in our stories of Waltham Forest's Orford Road looking wonderfully festive in some big Christmas ads this year.

It's such a great location - already overflowing with charm, and the perfect backdrop for this year's Christmas campaigns by both Argos and Asda.

Huge thanks to all of the E17 businesses and residents who welcomed Christmas early for these shoots back in September. Not a bah humbug in sight!

Another year at FOCUS - The Meeting Place for International Production!

There is so much going on at FilmFixer right now, and we were thrilled to have the chance to spotlight a couple of particularly big things this year:

What with the two big announcements above, our news from The Generator Project and our Set Ready training programme, and the ongoing brilliant work over at Screen Suffolk we never ran out of things to talk about. Didn't need to chat about the weather even once!*
