The magic of opera is often hard to put into words, but our Creative in Residence has done just that. ✨🎶
Across our 22/23 Season, poet and spoken word artist Kieron Rennie will be creating a series of artistic responses to our opera season and work, across multiple mediums 🖋️📸
Kieron previously worked with the ENO Engage team on a specially commissioned performance piece based on young people’s experiences during lockdown for the ‘The Way I See It’, a digital exhibition in partnership with Google Arts & Culture and ACE in summer 2020.
Building on ‘The Way I See It’, the aim of the ENO Creative Residency programme is to invite artists working in disciplines outside the field of opera to bring a new, fresh take on the artform, inviting audiences to experience our building and stories through a different lens – and creating new connections with our work that are at times unexpected.
