Opening night ✅

Last night saw .brosnan open his first UK exhibition with the wonderful .

The energy in the gallery was electric, with an absolutely packed guestlist to officially welcome Paris onto the UK art stage.

The exhibition will be up at Clarendon’s Dover Street gallery in London for the next two weeks (closing 10th March) - we’d love for you to check it out.

Accident & Underdogs’ consists of a trio of works: Heath, Hunter and Moon. Each are anchored by an everyday object, transformed. At their centre sits an unfolded box: deconstructed, laid bare, and forming the shape of a cross. A symbol steeped in centuries of meaning, reimagined by Johnny Depp through labels, playing cards, tags, graffiti and layered paint.

Fuelled by playful disruption and an instinctive rejection of the status quo, Johnny treats composition as an act of discovery. The box becomes a stage - a site where context, culture and perspective collide - allowing familiar symbols and words to shift, fracture and reform. Across the trio, a visual language emerges, one that builds towards a mythology entirely his own.

Johnny reflected on his process:

“It came to me one morning – I was having a cup of tea, it was the last bag in the box. I looked at the construction of the box, slipped a butter knife in, took the glue bits off and spread it out. The thing was in the shape of a crucifix. What an irony – in these everyday items you can find these things.”

Johnny Depp launches ‘Accidents & Underdogs’, a trio of works rooted in the spirit of classic Pop Art.

Collaging symbols of consumerism with fragments of personal history, Johnny invites us deeper into his inner world than ever before. Built through a lifelong practice of journaling - combining writing, prose and found imagery - collage becomes both process and philosophy. A reconstruction of reality. A way of seeing from multiple angles.

These works reward looking closely. Meaning is layered. Symbolism is hidden in plain sight.

Ahead of the upcoming collaboration between Johnny Depp and Deyrolle, the Pantheon Art team visited Deyrolle's iconic boutique in Paris - renowned for its rich history in taxidermy, natural sciences, and stunning educational collections.

A true cabinet of curiosities, Deyrolle has been inspiring artists, scientists, and collectors since 1831. Stay tuned for what’s to come from this exciting partnership!
