I’m proud to have played a small part in the creative journey behind Lost Boys and to have contributed to the project along the way.

It’s always rewarding to see an idea grow into a finished body of work, and this EP feels like an honest reflection of navigating adulthood, identity, growth, and the realities of life in a post-pandemic world. It’s a journey from boys to men, told through music, experiences, and perspective.

I’m also glad to have connected MAKOLA with FRNDS AS CMPNY during the process and to have witnessed the collaboration and creativity that followed.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this project to life. I hope people take the time to sit with it, connect with it, and enjoy the journey.

When reached out, he was looking for a new direction after some challenging experiences with previous teams. Our goal at Simple Complex Music was to help him reset, refocus, and find an organic path forward.

Rather than chasing hype or forcing a “big campaign,” we went grassroots first — reconnecting with his audience, re-establishing trust, and building momentum from the ground up.

From there, we secured a distribution deal with , which became a pivotal moment in the rollout and helped position D.I.Y for long-term success.

From the start, we knew this album was special — a bold, alternative record with deep Grime influences drawn from every part of Choze’s upbringing. It tells his story — his roots, resilience, and evolution as both an artist and a person.

Worked on promoting “The Deal Baby” by Bruce ‘Mississippi’ Johnson, and honestly, it stands as one of the finest soul and blues albums released in the last decade. The record is steeped in rich history, raw emotion, and musical depth — the storytelling, pen game, and vocal presence are nothing short of legendary.

As part of the campaign, I secured coverage and airplay from The Wall Street Journal, Living Blues Magazine, No Depression, BBC Radio London, and countless grassroots radio stations around the world.
