Our Print Studio manager and technician is leaving after 9 years in the role so we are looking for a suitable person to take on the role.
The Print Room Manager plays a crucial role at Kew Studio, with sole responsibility for the maintenance and running of our open-access printmaking facilities. Working six hours per week, the Print Room Manager undertakes:
Maintenance of specialist printmaking equipment and stock of materials for etching, relief and screen printing.
Inductions of new printmaker members, to include Kew Studio’s membership guidelines and responsibilities of membership, plus policies on health and safety, correct working practices and safe use of equipment.
Provision of skilled technical support to printmaker members across all areas of Intaglio, Relief and Silkscreen printmaking.
OPPORTUNITY TO TEACH: The current Print Room Manager teaches etching throughout the year at Kew Studio, making an important contribution to the fulfilment of our educational charitable remit. Applicants who would be able to continue this provision will be given priority consideration.
