The masterclass will include:

• Authentic Samba no Pé technique in the renowned Salgueiro style
• Musicality, posture, elegance and body expression
• Performance skills, confidence and stage presence
• The principles behind the world-famous Samba Diva Method

Suitable for dancers of all levels, from Improver to Advanced (not suitable for complete beginners), this immersive experience provides unique insight into the artistry, technique, and energy that have made Carlinhos Salgueiro a global samba icon.

Maxy is a choreographer and dancer based in London.
 
He has been in the industry for over 8 years and has worked on film & t.v as well as stage and live shows including Little Mix, Jessie J, Wonder Woman movie and Anastacia’s Tour.

INTRODUCTION TO HIP HOP COURSE:- The incredible Tiger Heslop starts his 6 week Hip Hop Course Tuesday 23rd June 7.30pm.

This 6-week introductory course at Pineapple Dance Studios is the perfect way to begin your Hip Hop dance journey and to learn about the history of Hip Hop dance and its culture.

You will learn Hip Hop steps and foundational vocabulary of the dance, as well as body isolation, grooves, and more from our renowned teacher, Tiger Heslop. No prior dance experience is necessary.

By the end of this beginner’s course, you will have a solid foundation in Hip Hop dance and be able to move with confidence and style. You’ll also have a greater appreciation for the culture and history of Hip Hop.

INTRODUCTION TO TAP COURSE:- The fabulous Beaux Harris starts her 6 week Tap Course Sunday 21st June 1.15pm.

Join this 6 week course led by the incredible Beaux Harris, where you’ll dive into tap and rhythm basics. Beaux will also help refine your storytelling and performance skills, boosting overall confidence in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

By the end of this introductory tap course, students will be able to enter a beginner’s tap class with confidence. This course is suitable for absolute beginners as well as anyone wanting a refresher on the basics of tap dance. No need to own tap shoes to take part, simply bring some hard soled shoes or trainers and a willingness to learn!

HIP HOP POP-UP CLASS ALERT:- The incredible Hamish Longley will be teaching a Hip Hop Pop-Up Class:-

⭐️Thursday 18th June 8pm (Int)

In this class we will work on a short routine rooted in Hip Hop style. There will be the opportunity for everyone to ask questions if needed. The goal is to have fun during the process.

Hamish studied at English National Ballet School and went on to dance with English National Ballet for three years. This year he has joined Scottish ballet and has performed a variety of different works.

Hamish has a passion for teaching and spreading his love of dance.

NEW CLASS ALERT:- The amazing Charlotte Sigrist is teaching a new Contemporary Class (Int) starting Friday 19th June 3pm.

Charlotte’s class will nurture a safe environment to train and explore new styles of movement. Classes will be choreography based with a warm up at the start of class. The choreography will follow intention driven movement and encourage students to make the moves their own.

Charlotte will ensure a supportive space with plenty of time to have fun dancing it out!
