Finally our beautiful wonderful, ambassador deluxe, crypt compere and agent of chaos John Lee Bird who currently has an incredible exhibition on in Vout-O-Reenees of his incredible felt dolls that you can view tonight.

John is a multi disciplinary artist working across felt, paint, found objects, video and sound. He most recently collaborated with Simon Fisher Turner at cafe Oto and Fabrizio Modonese Palumbo on their incredible record 'Think Pink.

Expect cathartic compering and 'THE NEWS' read in a way never heard before or since...

Hell yes...this time next week we will be mere minutes away from an epic edition of Knickers Club!!!
We are thrilled to welcome back Leo Garbutt

Leo Garbutt is a British-Chilean alternative indie songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer weaving introspective lyricism with rich musical textures. Raised on Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan and Chilean folk-rockers Los Jaivas, he later immersed himself in ambient/art-rock and indie folk to shape his sound. His voice has been likened to Patrick Wolf and his lyrics to Bright Eyes.

In 2023, he co-produced 'The Creation of Birds' with his sister Gabi Garbutt . The EP's lead single, 'Panic', a collaboration with Du Blonde, received plays on BBC Radio 6 Music (Steve Lamacq and Chris Hawkins) and Radio X (John Kennedy).

Now developing songs for his next album, Leo continues to perform across grassroots venues in London, drawing audiences into cathartic, deeply personal songs that balance raw storytelling with melodically woven arrangements.

Seems like a good day to announce Rob Corcoran who will bless our crypt next Friday!!
Dublin troubadour ROB CORCORAN is a much respected figure on the London roots scene, with folk legend Christy Moore having recorded a cover of Corcoran’s ‘Ringing That Bell’ on a recent album Corcoran’s lyrically compelling, beautifully observed songs are drenched in Celtic soul, drawing from the same deep wells that serve Van Morrison and Mike Scott so well. Present too is a strong thread of influence from the heart-on-sleeve poetry of John Prine, Hank Williams and Leonard Cohen. He recently supported legendary Irish roots artist Mary Coughlan in the UK, and continues to hone his craft both solo and with his full band around the best folk venues of Britain and Ireland.

Pretzel Cage is a London-based multidisciplinary artist, radical drag performer, and butoh dancer. Known for surreal and haunting stage shows blending cabaret, music, and autobiographical narratives, they frequently perform with the Q***R CXNTRY collective.

Pretzel's performance style is deeply physical, drawing heavily on butoh and body-centric movement. Their work frequently explores gender, emotional volatility, metaphysics, and q***rness, often confronting the audience with absurd, poignant, and potentially uncomfortable spectacles.
