She was so unexpectedly tiny - no monster, no demon - just the most exquisite and perfect creature far from home. She knew the dark, not a metaphorical dark but a familiar place where she belonged - she most probably wanted to go home. She was lost.

I hope too that people might think of other beings, other fishes, and think of them as they’ve thought of her.

Don’t forget her or what we feel right now. Don’t forget this connection to nature, to another species, to an individual who shared our home, our Earth.

Voting Green is not just important, it’s crucial. Coming second to Labour in a constituency means Labour must listen to green policies to not lose future votes. Think - We are nothing without our Mother, we are nothing if we do not stop the destruction of Earth, we are nothing if we continue to wreak havoc upon nature, if we continue to use the planet and especially poorer countries as resources for exploitation. We are nothing if we allow ourselves to be complicit in the destruction of our home; we are nothing if we silently support the super-rich in blaming the poor; we are nothing while our rivers are polluted, while the oceans are dying, and we are nothing if we are not all in it together.
Reform will not save you - eventually, the extreme right will come for us all. They are not your friends. The Green Party is an intelligent, honest, grown-up political party with sound and costed policies and without gimmicks - I don’t agree with everything, in all the details; no party holds all the answers for anyone, but my vote is for everyone. What the Green Party does have is a vision of a safe, fairer, stronger society, and they are working toward realising it. Intention matters.
A vote for the Green Party is a vote FOR something; it is a vote for hope, not fear.
