Photodump 2 from What a weekend! Hard to believe it was only 2 weeks ago.
Apologies for the quality. Liquorice schnapps probably had something to do with it..
1. The Left of the Dial skypuppet that greeted everyone at each venue. We want one of these!
2. at our Friday night stage at
3. had to work hard to get the whole room dancing at 8pm but after a couple of songs they did it easy!
4. dropped an industrial grimebomb on Rotterdam bringing something quite unique to the weekend
5. headlined the stage with a set that French music mag declared the best moment of the festival
6. Onto Saturday daytime and , who opened our stage on Friday night got to play on a boat sailing around the harbor, playing to 100 fairly inebriated people.
7. We were asked to curate a Saturday afternoon session by the boat dock at a new venue with a stage sunk about half a meter below the audience. It was a well, cool space and opened the proceedings very nicely.
8. Next up were who startled the staff with their extreme noise terror!
9. were the final act of the afternoon sesh and played songs from their great new 'Party Album' just released on ; this pic was from their set later in the evening at a massive big church in front of 800 or so people.
10. The biggest regret of the weekend was not seeing enough bands I had never heard of. There was so much choice but Belgian discopunk outfit proved to be a wise one, getting the Centraal venue partying like it was 2am. It was only 8.30pm. Memories are hazy after this. Top weekend.

Delighted that we're going to have a chapter in a new book project that celebrates London's landmark independent music venues. It promises to be full of previously untold stories, fun facts and history told by a team of top journalists through interviews with bookers and artists and it'll be stuffed with gig photos and and poster artwork.
To help raise the money needed to create the book, Sweaty Ceilings have launched an Indiegogo and for every copy pre-ordered £5 is also donated to the charity that protects, secures and improves grassroots music venues in the UK.
You can learn more and support the project via the link in Sweaty Ceiling's bio or https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/sweaty-ceilings #/
