Our story 🎶🎆

For all our followers old and new, we thought we would explain our more unusual route into the fireworks industry and our foundations in music.

Our vision for fireworks was different. An art form in its own right, we knew that music could lead it to new heights and take audiences on incredible journeys, creating stories in the sky.

Music - That universal language we all understand without explanation. It’s so powerful and adding beautiful colour and light to it from a mysterious black night sky, only adds to the feeling it gives you.

The design of the fireworks is crucial in a pyromusical, but it’s the music that sets the atmosphere.

Later this month we are taking part in this exciting pyromusical competition in France! 🇫🇷🎆

As the UK representatives with we are thrilled to be producing our fireworks display ‘Floating in the Clouds’ at this beautiful venue outside Paris on Saturday 27th June.

We absolutely love producing soundtracks for our clients and the tailoring involved to create something very bespoke to them but equally shows like this give us total artistic freedom, allowing us to use music we find interesting and imaginative and inspiring us into fresh, innovative firework design.

It’s a dream come true to use epic songs like this in our fireworks displays.

This one in Monaco fitted perfectly in the middle of this 20 minute soundtrack. From the mysterious slow beginning that made you ‘wait’, to the completely electric middle that came as a total surprise to the audience with the most perfect choreography by our clever designer. This design was totally on point!👌

The build at the end of this track built beautifully into the next part of the show. The ‘story’ in our soundtracks is everything!

Beginning the after dinner entertainment of your wedding or event with a ‘slow motion’ style opening.

Each firework bursting and falling in time to the music puts the audience into a sort of trance and transports them out of the ‘every day’ and into a dream space in their minds.

In our eyes, thats what pyromusicals can do for an event and SHOULD do, every time.

Time standing still is a rare but unbelievable feeling and we love being able to bring that to people.

There’s nothing we would change about this fireworks display, the music, the way the fireworks are choreographed and how the design translates exactly how the music feels.

Sometimes it feels like a complete dream to use tracks like these and to have them so exquisitely choreographed by our firework designers. We are forever passionate that pyromusical displays should feel light and fresh and exciting and that both the right music and a seamless display should transport you on a total journey from start to finish 🎆🎶

Lots of new followers joining us so we wanted to reintroduce you to the person behind it all - Our founder .

Unusually for the fireworks industry, Serena’s background is entirely in music and this is what makes our shows and service unique. With a huge amount of thought put into each soundtrack, we team up with the best firework designers in the business to then choreograph an inspirational story in the sky.

It was Serena’s vision to understand that the music was the ‘foundation’ to a Pyromusical display. She creates the soundtracks for all our displays and each one is bespoke, starting with a fresh ‘canvas’ every time and tailored to the event style.

Everything is considered from song selection, to the editing of each track to how it all ‘feels’ together, knits together to create a seamless journey. Serena will propose a conversation with our clients to inspire them and decipher their favourite music, often using songs that take them back in time to their memories. Above all we allow the soundtrack to ground the show and become the atmosphere that fits that person and place.

We love bringing that moment into our pyromusical displays where it feels like the music is taking you somewhere else and starts to ‘run’.

You can hear the excitement in the audience here as the music changes, alongside that exciting voice speaking to you from the dark sky.

The lyrics too couldn’t be more perfect - “I Want More” The audience certainly did and so did we! Lyrics are subtle when you’re watching fireworks and focusing mostly on what’s in front of your eyes but subconsciously the words do have an effect more than you might imagine!

The most unusual effect. One we have only used twice and never seen before or since.

It was a spark of genius from our clever firework designer to use this very thoughtful design for the end to this display. An effect to be used with caution due to the unpredictability of the way they launch themselves. But in the right setting and with the right music, wow it can be effective!

In this fast paced world we live in, with daily changing news and endless drama, creating these moments of peace we feel is becoming ever more important.

At the end of this show, nobody spoke ❤️
