A first batch of the metal pieces I made for my show at The Art Garage

These barns and houses are made from found sheets of tin, which I batter with tin snips, a hammer and spray paint for a few days.

They’re inspired by my dads hometown in upstate NY, my childhood summers there, and climate anxiety.

Stay tuned as there are more to come! I made about 22 in total and have absolutely loved working with metal in this way. I’d love to find a space in london where I can explore It further - it would be so great to be able to make much bigger, more intricate pieces using the methods I’ve been developing while working on these.

I will be at summer market this Saturday 13th of June!

I’ll be selling a lot my usual stuff, like prints, collages, originals, badges, stickers etc etc… but also some new things, like jewellery! Come along and pat me on the head!

Every time I do a market I like to challenge myself to make a quick poster/leaflet design - this one I made using an assortment of scans & assets I had laying about on my poor overladen laptop.
