Dilettanti Dilettanti was established in 1980 to promote the enjoyment and appreciation of the arts.

Unlocking the delights of the cultural past whether it is visiting great houses and exhibitions or exploring historic areas of a city, or looking at a painting. Our aim is to bring alive the history, culture, taste and ideas of society from past ages through lectures and visits, combining a scholarly approach with a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. We organise visits to outstanding collections and exhibitions, country houses and buildings of architectural interest often with background talks beforehand.
