Our summer season was very varied with great architecture, ancient street vistas, wonderful medieval sculpture, striking wallpapers and delightful gardens.

Everybody should visit the historic market town of Warwick. Our two-day visit in early October 2023 began with a tour of the magnificent Collegiate Church of St Mary, most famous for the Beauchamp Chapel which was begun in 1443 followed by the Lord Leycester Hospital founded in 1571 by Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester.
In bright sunshine we explored the romantic ruin of Kenilworth Castle, delving with our splendid guide into the medieval world of John of Gaunt and the renaissance splendour created Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester who entertained Elizabeth 1 most lavishly in 1575.

Our first visit of the year to the wonderful exhibition Beautiful People: The Boutique in 1960s Counterculture at the Fashion and Textile Museum. Fascinating stories, exotic clothes, often using ravishing fabrics of the 1930s and stunning photographs.
