What to expect in Dollie’s Jazz Class:
Dollie’s Jazz dance classes offer an open inclusive space for all dancers to develop creatively and artistically, mentally and physically as dancers, staying true to the spirit of Jazz and that of individual expression.
The class provide a Jazz warm-up, through exercises that enhance flexibility, stamina and strength, supported by jazz music to facilitate musicality and timing. This leads to learning a fun and energized Jazz dance combination that explores the creative elements of the dance and performance.
Dollie’s Jazz classes offer an enriching, engaging and energising creative dance experience for, all to be informed, involved and inspired through the art form of the Jazz Dance idiom.
As Dollie says … “You do not have to be a Jazz dancer to do my class, you just have to think like one! Jazz is an expression of individuality and community!”
