We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Dolly Parton. Global icon, savvy entrepreneur and inspirational philanthropist. 9-5 is a rousing anthem in our Core Repertoire which our 70+ choirs around the world enjoy performing. Dolly showed us that knowing who you are and being proud to live authentically was the way to be. Rest in peace Dolly - we will miss you. 🎶 🎶 🎶

🎶 Musical Director Recruitment – Middle Wallop & Andover Military Wives Choir 🎶

We’re looking for an inspiring Musical Director to lead the Middle Wallop & Andover Military Wives Choir — a welcoming group of women connected to the Armed Forces community who come together to sing, share and support each other.
If you’re a skilled teacher, a confident conductor and someone who enjoys building strong relationships, this could be the perfect role for you.

♪ Weekly rehearsals: Tuesdays, 7.45–9.30pm (Middle Wallop)
♪ Events: Around 5–6 performances each year
♪ Start date: As soon as possible

Have you ever thought about joining a choir but worried you weren't experienced enough?

At Military Wives Choirs, there are no auditions, no pressure and no need for previous singing experience. Just a warm welcome, plenty of laughter and the chance to enjoy singing alongside women who understand military life.

Whether you're a wife or partner of a serving person, a serving or veteran women, a veterans' wife or partner, reservist, widow, mother, sister or daughters (aged 18+) you are welcome. Come along to our taster session and see what we're all about.

The Military Wives Choirs bring together women from every corner of the Armed Forces community — wives, partners, serving women, veterans, reservists, mothers, daughters and sisters. Through singing, we create connection, confidence and a sense of belonging.

We’re looking for a Finance Trustee who can help guide our charity into its next chapter as we celebrate our 15th anniversary. If you’re a qualified accountant with a heart for community and a head for strategy, this could be the perfect role for you.

Military life can mean saying goodbye far too often, but it can also bring people together in the most unexpected and meaningful ways. Through our choirs, countless women have found not only a place to sing, but a place to belong.

Today’s photo features just one member's story, but it's one that echoes across our entire network. Because at Military Wives Choirs, friendships are more than a happy by product of singing together – they're one of the greatest gifts of being part of our community.

We’re incredibly proud of Lossiemouth Military Wives Choir for representing their choir, military community and Moray at His Majesty’s Garden Party at Holyrood Palace.

What began as a Remembrance concert honouring local service personnel and raising funds for charity, led to a truly once in a lifetime opportunity — and a wonderful chance to share the story of Military Wives Choirs with Her Majesty The Queen.

Moments like these show the power of music, community and support. 🎶
