***r Festivals & Events like ours are important not only because they celebrate our q***rness – but also because they push against the erasure of q***r people by those who peddle the lie that we are pushing some sort of sordid ‘lifestyle’ onto people. Bowdlerisation past & present must be actively fought against. ‘Over-exposure’ is not something we should be preoccupied with, because our rights & freedoms are too fragile and precious – so here’s to 19 years since was repealed! 🏳️‍🌈🕯️🏳️‍⚧️

The first edition of our groundbreaking new running annually from June ( ) to February (Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Trans History Month UK) – which is co-produced by Burgh House & ‘Les Bougies Baroques', and founded by Ian Peter Bugeja & Mark Francis – is now well past its halfway point. How many of our events have you been to, how many do you still hope to attend, and what did you like about the events that have already taken place? Let us know in the ‘comments’ section below!

Our ‘ ***r Georgian Social Season’ fuses with an array of other disciplines in a social setting – not only so that we may uncover and q***r lives & stories from the Georgian Era, but also so that we can get together as a and collectively celebrate all that makes us q***r and wonderful in this day & age. Other than being q***r-led, our QGSS features an impressive lineup of q***r collectives & headliners that have included/will include: Ian Peter Bugeja, Adam All, Apple Derrières, Lasana Shabazz, Jonathan Eyers - Baritone, Maria Ostroukhova, Warren Reilly Designs, Richard Energy, Richard Austen, Gareth Davies, Pckd Lnch, Willoh, Oli McSorley, Laura Cioffi, Jack Holton, CN Lester, Q***ra Lynn, Julien Harman-Evans, Omer Gaash, and the majority of ‘Les Bougies Baroques’ players.

All you are required to do is leave your preconceptions at the door, and come as yourself – with or without bells on! While you do not have to be q***r to attend our QGSS series of events, please be aware that our QGSS provides a safe space for q***r people – a safe space which deserves your respect. Thank you.
