I've been sitting here at Auckland Airport and I've been trying to think of a better two words that express how I truly feel but I can't - so THANK YOU ❤️

Today I start my incredible journey to The Globe Theatre alongside 23 other extraordinary people who as well are with SGCNZ Young Shakespeare Company. Right now I am sitting in Auckland AIrport, however, tomorrow I will be leaving Auckland and heading to London, with a nice stop off in Singapore. This opportunity to explore London and perform on The Globe stage would not have been possible without everybody who has supported me. I would love to sit down and tag or mention every single one of you - however, I feel like I would miss my flight if I did that. So thank you; to all of the people who donated on Facebook, the families who donated, the Wairarapa public who put in money while I was busking, Wairarapa College, the businesses who have supported me and individuals all around the Wairarapa and New Zealand who have contributed to this trip - without you I would not be here right now. Thanks to you I raised $9500 all by myself. A huge thank you goes to Dawn Sanders who has made this all possible! However, its not just about the money, its about the support that has blown me away as so many of you have given so much in such a short amount of time. Whether its a like on Facebook, a share, a conversation, or a donation - thank you. This experience will be life-changing and I can't wait to come back and share what I have learned.

See you soon 🇬🇧

What a great night at the SGCNZ UOSWSF Wairarapa regional competition! It was absolutely incredible and inspiring to see all the schools in the Wairarapa perform such amazing scenes - I think everyone was truly blown away. Congratulations to Kuranui for there 15 minute scene from The Tempest - wowe 🤩 as well as Brooke Robertson for receiving the award for Delivery Of The Text 😱 It was an honour for the Wairarapa College 5 minute King Lear cast to be selected to go to Nationals!! This is the first time in a while that Waicol has been to nationals in Wellington and my first time directing so it’s such a privilege 😊 Thanks to everyone who came to watch and I hope to share more about not only my own journey, but waicols 💙

Okay, this is getting surreal now... $8000!!!! This is absolutely crazy!! Thanks to Masterton Rotary for their kind donation and other generous donators since last time 😇 not long now till I would have raised my full amount and I’ll be having a nice coffee on a plane heading to England - well, Singapore first 😂 hopefully you’ll here from me soon... 😉🤩🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

P.S the SGCNZ Wairarapa UOSWSF 2019 regional competition is on Tuesday 9th April. I’ll be performing as well as selling lollies, drinks, and ice cream to raise money 💰 so hopefully I’ll see some of you there! 😁

Wow we have made it to $7000!!! I don’t know what to say really as I’m so thankful for all the support - especially since we are so close to our goal 😍 The regional SGCNZ University Of Otago Sheilah Winn Shakespeare festival is coming up at the end of the term and I can’t wait 😊 I’m directing a 5 minute King Lear peace as well as having a role in Wairarapa College’s 15 minute piece! I hope people in the region can come along and support - it will be a very dramatic night 🎭 thanks for the continuous support and I’m sure you’ll hear back from me soon... 😉

Since last time I posted, I HAVE RAISED BOTH $5000 & $6000!! Thanks for all the support with the week long drama fundraiser we did, this was an amazing week as I learnt so much, as well it was so rewarding to give back to the younger community 😊 this fundraiser also helped out my trip as I raised a lot of money! Thanks for all the support so far on the page, it’s crazy to see how many likes and reactions we get to the posts - really just shows the support from you all ☺️ bring on $7000!!!!

What an amazing week I had with the fundraiser programme! Here’s some photos that won’t do the week justice 😊 we performed a play written by Juanita McLellan - Jack, Jill and the Beanstalk. The cast all were so incredible to watch as they gained confidence and performance skills as well as all of them came out of their comfort zones and they progressed so much in such a short amount of time ☺️ we also wrote a song in 40 minutes on the first day which will be another post as I can’t upload it here 😅

Happy New Year 🥳🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Thanks to my paycheck that came in this morning, WE REACHED $4000!! This is so surreal as we are nearly half way 😍 I still need to apply for grants from rotary clubs and other organizations around the Wairarapa (comment if you know any kind organizations or businesses 💕) so the goal of $9500 is feeling closer and closer!! Thanks for all the support 😊 but while I’ve got your attention...

AJ Southey, Juanita McLellan and I are organizing a week-long drama fundraiser and we would love for you guys to spread the word as all the funds are going towards our trip to England!! This will be such a fun, eventful, and a great learning experience for students (aged near 8-12) around the Wairarapa as they will gain confidence to perform in front of pairs as well as learn performance skills and techniques 😊
