Meet The Artist
Steve Kerr

George has been tattooing since 2018
He specialises in Neo-Traditional & Geometric and Illustrative. He likes Sparkling Water, Bueno Cone, OJ with Lemonade & Metalcore.

When asking Steve about his inspiration he says: “Growing up my Uncle Iain and Cousin Chris were my biggest inspirations. They took to art like a duck to water. I loved seeing them make something out of nothing, their characters breathed life into me. Same with comics, I loved how lines and colours felt dynamic and charismatic, they really fired off my imagination and kept me smiling. Now I take inspiration from music, poems, idioms and the creatives I surround myself with.”

If Steve hadn’t become a tattoo artist he says “I was a gardener and graphic designer for 15 years so likely that.”

I’m always inspired by the people I work with, could personally never work in a private studio without the inspo around me.”

If Rosie hadn’t become a tattoo artist She says “I did go to Camberwell (ual) briefly with the hopes of illustration if tattooing didn’t happen. Not sure though, I’d definitely still be doing something creative… Whether that’s fun nail art, cake making or something like that.”

If George hadn’t become a tattoo artist he says “I would love to work in film making horror movies or restoring custom 1950s cars.”

Meet The Artist
Amber Pearce

Amber has been tattooing since 2022
She specialises in Blackwork & realism and likes Celsius energy drink, Beef space raider, Shandy & Alternative Music.

When asking Amber about her inspiration she says:
“I’m hugely inspired by dark black and grey artists such as Needle Juice, whose designs and compositions are incredible, Matt Jordan for his beautiful detail and application, and Eliot Kohek for his powerful use of contrast and texture.
That being said, I’ve also been incredibly lucky to work alongside and meet so many talented artists throughout my career. I feel like inspiration is something you constantly absorb from the people around you, and I’m grateful to keep learning from others every day.”

If Amber hadn’t become a tattoo artist She says “I’d probably be working with data. I spent eight years working in a bank before I started my apprenticeship, and I genuinely enjoyed managing data and working in Excel. It might sound like the complete opposite of tattooing, but I loved the organisation and problem-solving so I’d probably be doing something along those lines.”

If Luis hadn’t become a tattoo artist He says “I have never really thought about anything else, I have had many different jobs and I would work hard in all of them but nothing else lit a spark, if I were to think about it, I would have wanted to have been a painter or sculptor, something creative that I can do with my hands, but mainly I would be whatever paid my bills as I’ve done in the past.”
