What a legend

Mohini doesn’t just perform comedy, she’s the genius that produces it. As the producer of Sofar Comedy she’s the one deciding who’s funny enough for the stage… and she’ll be MC-ing the nights too!

Lawyer by day and Comic by night, Mohini is a force to be reckoned with and we are so excited to see her shine at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 🥹🫶🏽

Samira Banks is an exciting comedic talent of Middle Eastern heritage, known for her deadpan delivery and devastatingly sharp punchlines. Since bursting onto the scene, she has won the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? competition, been a finalist in Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year, and appeared in the BBC New Comedy Awards.

She has performed at top clubs across the UK, including The Stand and Top Secret Comedy Club, and has toured nationally with the LOL: Ladies of Laughter showcase.

After a decade as a Data Scientist at Google and an MSc in Applied Math from LSE, Valeria Vulpe transitioned into stand-up. Since then, things have moved quite fast!

2025 Spirit of Comedy Winner, she opened for Ricky Gervais at Wembley Arena. Her comedy juxtaposes her upbringing in a country many doubt exists with the incisive observations of an immigrant living from one visa to the next.

Monica Gaga is a British-born Black African q***r host, improviser, facilitator, maker, and performer. With over 15 years of experience performing and hosting, and over 20 years of improvising, Monica brings bold energy, sharp wit, and radical joy to every stage she steps on.

A regular with the legendary ‘Comedy Store Players’, Monica is a cast member and producer of ‘HELL YEAH!’, a bold and brilliant q***r improv collective; she plays with ‘Do The Right Scene’—hailed by Time Out as “theatre that thinks”; she is one half of the feminist comedy duo ‘Derek’s Mojo’; and is excited to have recently joined the cast of the five star reviewed show, ‘Murder She Didn’t Write’.

Sofar Comedy prod. Mohini takes her show to Edinburgh Festival Fringe 😍

📍Monkey Barrel Comedy

We join Untold Studios. director Charlie Sarsfield for a conversation surrounding intimate live performance content and some of the most watched large-scale artist led music videos 📹

Sarsfield has spent the last decade helping shape the visual worlds around some of music’s biggest names internationally including: Billie Eilish, Yungblud, Lewis Capaldi and Dermot Kennedy. He has worked on such iconic videos as Yungblud’s ‘Zombie’, Billie Eilish’s ‘Wildflower’, Dermot Kennedy’s ‘Funeral’ and Lewis Capaldi’s ‘Survive’.

Most recently he was on tour with Grammy Award Winning Rock Artist Yungblud directing his forthcoming documentary. In this one off exclusive, we will discuss the evolving role of the music video, building trust with artists, and why the most memorable creative moments often come from moments that feel honest, grounded and authentic, paired with performances from two of London’s next rising talent 🎧
