🔴Find out about joining the Touch Tour if you visit before 1:15pm on Saturday 20 June (Touch Tour from 1:15-1:45pm)

🎧Borrow listening headphones for Audio Described performances of TRUTH! At 11am and 2pm on Saturday 20 June.

🔴Ask us about performance times if you are unsure, and let us know if you’d like us to find you and your mobility scooter or wheelchair a space with a great view!

Our Saturday show days in Barkingside are very special as there are so many art and craft activities to take part in- inside and outside of Fullwell Cross Library (From 10am- 3pm but not during performance times)

🎨👩🏽‍🎨Art for all! Pop-Up Outdoor Art Workshops from Art SEND inclusion specialists Barkingside Art Club - Creative Ambassadors and Spectrum Studio Young Artists.

🎨👩🏿‍🎨Arts Award Discover in a Day

Children & young people aged 5 – 25 years old including those with SEND can also take part in the Discover in a day Arts Award.

Arts Award Discover is part of Trinity College London’s unique Arts Award qualifications which support children and young people to connect with and take part in the wider arts world and set personal challenges in the art form of their choice.

TRUTH! by Ramshacklicious and Hijinx Theatre is launching Redbridge Outdoor Arts summer season😊

Watch their BSL flyer for more information about the show.

TRUTH! has access and inclusion at its core, with a cast of disabled and non-disabled performers. This show has very little spoken language - It has a gestural language which supports the show instead.

Suitable for all ages.

🎧Our friends Ramshacklicious and Hijinx have made an Audio Flyer for their show TRUTH!

✨Please share with any of your friends and family who might love to come to a free show with live Audio Description, listened to with headphones.

🎧Audio description is a narration service that verbally conveys the visual elements of a live performance to audience members who are blind or have low vision... or you might benefit from additional sensory support to get the most out of the show for other reasons.

Both shows on Saturday 20 June are Audio Described, and there is also a Touch Tour to feel costumes and hear more about the visual elements of the performance.

Afterlives Festival launches at Wanstead Library this evening 🤍

We’re so excited to be launching our Afterlives Arts Festival at Library this evening!

We’d love to welcome you. There’ll be a stall where you can get information and put your questions to Saint Francis Hospice, a performance of Batman (Naomi’s Death Show), and a screening of the award-winning documentary All That Breathes from the Dead Good Film Club.

All these activities are or low cost.

Tech Ilford 2026, the Redbridge Library annual celebration of innovation, creativity, and hands-on discovery is back on Saturday 13 June!

The festival offers exciting and interactive experiences around STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths) for families, young people, and the wider community.

This year you can book a BSL interpreted visit around Tech Ilford and discover what’s happening across the festival.

Explore the event, meet activity leads and enjoy a closer look at some of the hands-on activities with support from an NRCPD Registered British Sign Language Interpreter.

Each session lasts around 45 minutes and is for up to six people.
