✨ LIGHT AND DARKNESS ✨

Join The Rodolfus Choir for an early evening concert of choral music conducted by Elinor Cooper and Peter Davis.

From Rheinberger’s ‘Abendlied’ and Wood’s ‘Hail, gladdening light’, to music by Lassus, Schütz and Brahms, the programme spans centuries of choral music. We’ll also be singing a rare Finzi miniature alongside two contemporary works by Chief Conductor of the .

The service was directed by Simon Toyne, with George Herbert at the organ, and recorded in the beautiful surroundings of York Minster.

The penultimate day of JCC Wellington has been a busy one! From dress rehearsals and musicianship workshops to growing excitement for tomorrow’s final concert, it has been a day full of music, memories and anticipation 💫

Today’s musical highlights included an Organ Masterclass led by our very own .membery as well as an insightful Vocal Health session with Molly Grace Cochrane

The evening was rounded off with a movie night — featuring, rather tastefully, ABBA in the form of Mamma Mia! ☀️

Excitement is bubbling as we look ahead to what promises to be a phenomenal final concert and a wonderful celebration of everything our singers have achieved this week.
