Kittitians and Nevisians today we celebrate 43 years of Independence!🇰🇳

If you didn’t know Nevis is part of our own story here at The Windrush Prize and the Prize would not exist without the life and legacy of Myron Brown, and his daughter, Shereener Browne (both proud Kittitians and Nevisians).

Today, we celebrate our rich heritage, culture and those who paved the way for our island!✨

Happy Independence Day, Saint Kitts and Nevis!
