Hello, and welcome to new followers ππ«Ά Here's a bit about me and my practice.
I'm a French-born visual artist and I've lived in London for over half of my life. I fell for the city's scale, its diversity, unruly messiness and bottomless supply of culture. It's here that everything came into place for me.
I am chiefly a painter, although in recent years my practice has been enriched by experimentation and discoveries in printmaking, drawing, textile work, sculpture, photography and video. Being playful with materials and seeing what they can do is one of the main joys of making art for me.
My chief sources of inspiration tend to be in everyday experiences: the ever-evolving architecture of my North London neighbourhood, people caught unawares while living their lives, contemplative moments in nature while on holiday, or poignant little details and objects. As rooted in reality as my work is, I also love to push the boundary between realism and abstraction.
I sell my work primarily in person, and I love watching people as they encounter an artwork for the first time - seeing where they look, taking them through it, answering their questions and be surprised by what they see or what link they make between the work and their own experiences.

I'm a member of the Islington Art Society , Muswell Hill Creatives and printmaking enthusiasts Potatoes At Sunset . Do give these groups a follow as well if you love a good show.
