For over a century, one family has believed in the power of art.

Did you know our Founder and CEO, Mark Cass, is the great-great-nephew of Paul Cassirer – the pioneering German art dealer who helped introduce French Impressionism to Europe, championing artists including Van Gogh, Monet, Degas and Cézanne?

For over a century, the Cass family has been supporting artists, from exhibiting groundbreaking work and championing art education to making the highest-quality art materials accessible to everyone. It's a legacy that continues to inspire our mission to Fill This Town With Artists.

We're proud to see Paul Cassirer's remarkable contribution celebrated in the exhibition Cassirer and the Breakthrough of Impressionism at Alte Nationalgalerie, Berlin, marking 100 years since his passing.

If you're visiting Berlin, it's well worth adding to your list.

Manchester-based artist Katie Scott has transformed the windows of Cass Art Soho with a striking portrait of Frida Kahlo, bringing bold colour and creativity to the heart of London.

Known for her large-scale murals and expressive portraits, Katie combines vibrant colour with confident mark-making to create work that's impossible to walk past.

Created using Montana Blue Water Based, the piece showcases the versatility of water-based spray colour while celebrating one of art's most iconic figures.

If you're in Soho, be sure to stop by and see it for yourself.

To celebrate the launch of Michael Harding's new Brecon Beacons set, we're taking a closer look with the wonderful Rosso Emerald Crimson. Straight from the tube, mixing them with Warm White she explores the versatility of this unique colour range.

The Brecon Beacons Oil Paint Set is the fourth and final release in the year-long celebration of 40 years of Michael Harding Oil Paints. Each set in the series has reflected a different stage in Michael's approach to colour, shaped by decades of developing pigments and refining his range.
The inspiration behind the latest colour selection came from when Michael lived in Brecon Beacons in 2009.. From radiant yellows to deep blues and forest greens, the palette captures the vast skies, shifting weather and dramatic light of the Brecon Beacons.
