Meatopia UK Meatopia is a festival of food, fire, smoke and live music held at Tobacco Dock, London And now, it is coming to London. It arrives in London this September.

Meatopia, held originally in New York City, is a world-class culinary event founded and hosted by TIME magazine food columnist and James Beard Award-winning food writer Josh Ozersky. It has been acclaimed as “a meat-lover’s paradise” (New York Magazine), “spectacular” (Esquire), a “bacchanal of pork, beef, lamb, chicken, duck, turkey and quail” (New York Times), and “a glorious city of meat” (Huffington Post). Each year, dozens of world-class chefs cook some of the country’s greatest meat over live fires, while live music, cold beer, and aged spirits surround it. Previously held in New York City exclusively, in 2012 Meatopia held its first outside event in the San Francisco bay area.

from joined forces with to give these huge oysters the full Meatopia treatment... grilled over fire with chicken fat, lime, Scotch bonnet and Welsh tajín, then finished with crispy chicken skin.

Our farthest-travelled Meatopia chefs, ambassador of Barney’s Pizza and Wild Game Butchery and of Off Grid Provisions, made their way from Australia to The Dock to do what they do best: cook seriously good food over seriously big flames.

Flame-grilled poussin, smoky potato gribiche and hot sauce butter. Simple, smoky and one hell of a way to make a Meatopia debut ❤️‍🔥

Four days of fire, smoke, seriously good food, cold drinks, big tunes and thousands of you getting stuck into it all. We’re still thinking about the dishes, the dancing and everything in between.

And just like that, it’s all over…

The fires are all out, our chefs have gone home, and The Dock lies still again. But the smoke lingers and so do the memories. We came together to feast, to drink, to dance, to celebrate. Plates piled high, glasses raised, laughter ringing out long into the night.

Meatopia is about more than just food - it’s about the an incredible community. Chefs who give everything to the flames, the crews who keep the fire alive, and you, The Meatopians who make it all possible.

As the haze clears, we’re left with full bellies, full hearts, and smoke-filled memories that will stay with us until next year ❤️
