"It is with much sadness that we have to announce the immediate closure of Oakwood Theme Park and confirm the park will not open for the 2025 season."

This is very disappointing to hear especially as Oakwood is my local park and Wales only theme park. After an investment of £25 million pound by Aspro Parks they have decided to close the park. This is the first time Aspro Parks have ever closed a park.

Yet again no official information from the park about it's removal and still no information on park opening or the ability to purchase tickets.

Oakwood Theme Park have officially confirmed that Drenched is leaving the park.

“We can confirm that after 20 plus years of operation, Drenched has been retired from the Oakwood Theme Park offering, and is being dismantled."

"We look forward to sharing other park updates when we commence the build up to the 2025 season”.

We don't know what Oakwood's plans are for the area and the park. Hopefully we see a replacement ride for Drenched.

I have held back on this as I have made contact with Oakwood Theme Park for an official update but have had no reply for several days.

As seen on other pages Oakwood has started to take down the Drenched ride after it has remained closed for some time. Apparently other attractions are also being considered for removal but this has not officially been confirmed by the park. Oakwood has not officially confirmed the removal of any attractions from the park but drenched has been removed from the website. The website has had no blog updates about changes to the park, there is no update on opening dates for the year and day tickets and annual passes currently cannot be purchased as the page doesn't exist. I'm hoping we will have an official update from the park as soon as possible.

Unfortunately TopThrill 2 will remain closed for the rest of the year. Its certainly not a good start for the coaster or...
