Tomorrow is opening night, The Lovers are coming to Chingford!

This is a show you do not want to miss...

The course of true love never did run smooth, especially when you’re a popstar. Hermia loves Lysandra, Helena loves Demetrius, Demetrius loves.. himself. This young band are at the top of their career but they are One for Sorrow when it comes to their love life. Can they get that coveted OK Magazine wedding shoot deal or will it end in Tragedy?

Hermia: Though she be but little she is fierce

Helena: O spite! O hell! I see you all are sent to set against me for your merriment!

Well, with showtime around the corner, we still have a few tickets available for MSND Fest 2000- the newest adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream at Mornington Hall...

Let's meet some more of our cast...

The Music Label: Theseus, Hippolyta and Phil

The music label control the music industry, and all those within it, at least that’s what they think.

Theseus: Record label exec, like Simon Cowell but doesn’t wear his trousers as high. 🕶️

Hippolyta: Brought in by Theseus as his Marketing exec at the label, but she is trying to sell the story her way. 🗞️

Philostrate, or Phil for short: The intern, learning from Theseus and Hippolyta, making sure the paps get the right pics for the press 📸

The countdown is on. Opening night is around the corner...

The stage is set, the costumes are ready and the fairies? Well, they're causing their usual amount of trouble.

The Queen of Pop. The King of Soul. His pesky assistant, Puck.
These rulers of the Green room cause havoc at the festival with their entrancing music and meddling ways.

Titania: What angel wakes her from her flowery bed? 🌺

Oberon: remember his ‘84 hit that Top of the Pops called Spellbinding? 👀

Puck: She’ll put a girdle around the earth in forty minutes ✨

Did someone say cast reveal?

With MSND Fest 2000 just around the corner, we thought it was about time to introduce you to some of our lovely cast.

The Mechanicals…

The people who make MSND Fest happen, whilst also budding thespians themselves.

Peter Quince, festival organiser and director of their play, Pyramus & Thisbe

Nick Bottom, wardrobe master and make up artist to the stars, costume designer for their play.
Playing the good knight Pyramus, that’s if he doesn’t make a fool out of himself beforehand.

Robyn Starveling, lighting technician at MSND Fest, lighting up Pyramus & Thisbe as the moon.

Francis flute, sound technician, begrudgingly playing the fancy lady Thisbe.

Sarah Snug, choreographer to The Lovers, playing the Lion who scares away Thisbe from her Pyramus.

Tina Snout, set maintenance for MSND fest, set designer for their play, somehow finds herself playing a wall.
