Something new! 🍼

As you may know, my sister Louise welcomed a lovely baby girl earlier this year… and that got us thinking…

The Jive Tribe will be launching a parent and baby sling dance class on Thursdays at 12pm 👶

The Jive Tribe’s parent and baby sling dance class will allow parents to enjoy relaxed low-impact cardio and movement while keeping their baby snug and secure in a sling or ergonomic carrier.

We’ll have low-impact dance routines such as Irish and American line dances to upbeat music. Babies enjoy being bounced around and you’ll get to learn some fun choreography in the meantime!

This is a zero-pressure, welcoming environment focused on wellbeing, keeping active, laughter, and chat time with other new parents.

You are welcome to bring prams and toys to entertain, plus napping babies.

If your baby is napping, parents can still take part! You do not need to have your baby in a sling to take part in the dances.

Cowboy hats encouraged but not essential... 🤠

Following his performance, Johnny Brady said: “There seems to be a lot of good dancers out there. I’m surprised how many jivers there are out there.

“It’s just great to see how well Irish people are doing in other parts of the world and, it seems, thriving here.”
