Looking forward to this!

On Saturday 18th November Stuart Hancock, the composer of the music from the new animation of 'Kensuke's Kingdom', will be conducting the music live to an exclusive preview from the film. It will be followed by a Q & A with Michael.

There will also be a screening of the 'Peter and the Wolf' film accompanied by the classic Prokofiev music, performed by St Paul’s Sinfonia, conducted by Stuart Hancock. Peter & The Wolf’s Oscar®-winning director Suzie Templeton will be there to co-present on the concert stage in front of the big screen, together with the actual puppet stars of the movie.

Performances are at 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm. The Q & A will only be after the 5pm performance.

Tickets are available here and will raise funds for the music education charity MUSIC MASTERS.

And in the second half, more Tchaikovsky - his aching beautiful and moving Symphony No. 6, the 'Pathétique'. We absolutely cannot wait for this!

Normally I'd be creating an event for our Christmas concert, but this is a bit more special - in that it's not one Christmas concert but TWO. We're playing some of the most beautiful Baroque music in two of the most beautiful churches in London, and the occasions could only be made more beautiful if YOU could be with us!

So - at 6.00 pm, we are playing an early-evening concert at St Alfege Church in Greenwich. Tickets for this can be found HERE https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/st-pauls-festive-baroque-round-one-bach-vivaldi-handel-corelli-tickets-174949186727

And then we're dashing across London, and performing at 8.30pm at St Paul's Church in Clapham. And tickets for this concert are HERE https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/st-pauls-festive-baroque-round-two-bach-vivaldi-handel-corelli-tickets-174951734347

Tickets for both concerts are also, of course, available on the doors. We'd love to see you there!

Happy times in this photo, taken back in June 2019. Hopefully we'll be all back sharing music stands, wearing Hawaiian shirts, and welcoming lovely live audiences into our concerts before too long. But before that - you, yes YOU, have 12 hours left to watch our March concert. An enticing mix of Verdi, Malcolm Arnold, and Mozart's glorious 40th symphony - we LOVED getting back together. Tickets are an absolute steal at £12 - buy the ticket and watch the stream here: https://stpaulssinfonia.ticketco.events/uk/en/e/st_pauls_sinfonia_returns . What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon?

If you would like to see our Christmas concert and you haven't bought a ticket yet, there's still time... just not very much of it, that's all! The stream is available until 7.00 pm this evening. It's a wonderful selection of Baroque music, including Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 and the sublime Christmas Concerto by Corelli. Click here: https://stpaulssinfonia.ticketco.events/uk/en/e/st_pauls_sinfonia_baroque_christmas to purchase a ticket (an absolute bargain at £12). However your Christmases are panning out, we hope you all have a wonderful and festive holiday!
