WE’RE BACK AT THE DECORATIVE FAIR!
We’re delighted to be returning to The Decorative Fair this Autumn, bringing a carefully chosen selection of art, furniture and decorative pieces to Battersea Park. This is always one of our favourite fairs – a brilliant place to discover unexpected treasures, meet fellow collectors and find those extra special pieces.

For this Fair, we have put together an exciting collection, including brand new paintings by Ben McLaughlin, ceramics by Julie Nelson and work by Madge Gill, Daphne McClure, Alan Davie, Peter Joyce, Peter Seal, Victor Pasmore and Claudia Rankin.

You will find us at Stand B15. Come and say hello – we’d love to see you there.

The Fair opens on Tuesday September 29 until Sunday October 4. For tickets, please drop us a DM.

We are beyond proud and excited to announce that two of our favourite women and WSJ artists have had work selected for this year’s RA Summer Exhibition.

The selection panel has included Her Blossom Blouse by and two works – In Pieces and Untitled (Red) – by . Congrats ladies - tho it’s no surprise to us!

Held every year since 1769, the Summer Exhibition displays works in a variety of mediums and genres by emerging and established artists. It’s the world’s oldest open submission exhibition – which means that anyone can enter their work to be considered for inclusion.

The works in the Summer Exhibition are selected and hung by Royal Academicians, who also exhibit, creating an eclectic mix of work. In previous years, nearly two thirds of the exhibits were by non-Academicians. For 2026, the theme is Interconnectedness.. The Summer Exhibition runs from June 16 to August 23 at the Royal Academy in Picadilly. See you there!

‘Every painting feels like a return to the beginning. I set out with the spirit of exploration and uncertainty in equal measure.’

We are delighted to be working with artist Marjorie Bloch who lives and works in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Born in Dublin, where she developed an early love of art and creativity, Marjorie studied Fine Art in Belfast before completing a post grad in Philosophy at Queens University.

We are excited to show a collection of her works on paper, created using oil and wax.

Next week sees the opening of our latest exhibition. With the Swallows features work by ceramicist Hannah Watts alongside artists Karen Radford and Julian Brown, both long-time WSJ collaborators. Hannah Watts is a London-based multidisciplinary artist whose work blends fine art and graphic design. Trained at Edinburgh College of Art, The Florence Academy of Art and Shillington College, she brings a distinctive visual language to her practice – where geometric shapes, bold patterns and drawing intersect.
Inspired by the tropics – particularly African landscapes, architecture and textiles – Hannah creates vivid “dreamworlds.” Her work reimagines nature through exaggerated plants and florals, with pattern as a constant thread throughout.

✨ With the Swallows also features work by Julian Brown and Karen Radford.

There’s something really special about stepping into an artist’s studio - canvases leaning against the wall, words and sketches scattered like breadcrumbs of inspiration. ✨

Yesterday we had the joy of visiting to see what she’s been working on and, truly, magic is in the air.

Layers of texture, bolder palettes - it’s gorgeous and exciting and we can’t wait for you to see more in a few weeks.
