When I’m called upon to add that critical final overdub to the live album I’m producing, that’s when my years of musical training, the music degree, the countless hours of practice really pay off. You’ve got to be ready for intense moments like this one. 😂

Music educators and performers: I've just been through and fixed a load of links that weren't displaying at all at olivepressmusic.com – which means that now there's much more to browse through in the FIVE different catalogues, including arrangements, original compositions and educational materials. This one’s worth a cheeky little re-share. Throwing back to lockdown, when one had enough time on one’s hands to extensively (re?)harmonise the instrumental breakdown from Sir Duke, and then painstakingly mix and edit it together in the desperate attempt to remind other people that you are still out there making music… but I digress. Use headphones! 🎧

A bunch of shots from getting the cabin-studio set up, including a very happy bass face, although I can’t for the life of me imagine that it wasn’t that long ago that I felt the need to wear a woolly jumper 🥵
