BeatenTrack Studio is now on Google Maps! . . . getting ahead while I wait for the actual garden studio room to be built in the next couple of months! It will become a great place for tracking instruments and vocals, audio editing, library composition and more. Can't wait to set up the new space!

Currently in the works at the studio: a live album session that is nearly the same size as some low-end laptop hard drives – and I wouldn't be surprised if after overdubs it ends up over the 250GB mark 🫣 good job we have solid backup here at BeatenTrack Studio!

I’ve got a 5 track EP of B-Sides that has now reached the Edit phase! Editing is usually the less fun part between recording and mixing – unless you have an epic T-shirt once sent to you from a Texas audio company saying Edit Ninja! 😂

Ben Trigg Music is now BeatenTrack Studio – the home of all my production activity. I’m gearing up to produce another live album for Ichthus Christian Fellowship, captured live at Revive 2025, while also revamping the premises a bit and setting up a real acoustic piano for recording! Lots more to watch in this space too… For music notation, remote studio audio production and instrumental sessions, this is the place to come!

Took this baby on the train/tube for the first time to play with for a lovely show last Friday. Let's just say, it's doable... Just about 😅 But very grateful to have the option – so much better than driving through London!

^ My actual happy place. Somehow it's my main strument and I hardly ever get to play. I seem to inhabit a life of a constant need to let go...but then I follow a teacher who said the only way to find your life is to lose it. And I have found that to be true. If you cling to things too tight they can slip through your fingers. I'm super grateful for every opportunity I *do* get to play, and all the other ways I get to pour myself out creatively...
