DJ Danny Nutt is an experienced, versatile DJ who will liven up any private party, wedding, bar/club His first gig was at his 6th form school disco!

Danny has a full sound system and has been DJing for over 20 years. Since then he set up a successful club night called Eat My Funk, along with other DJ's, blending his favourite genres of music: funk, soul, disco, hip-hop, latin, reggae and r&b. Venues included: The White Horse in Brixton and Paradise Bar in New Cross. Alongside this, Danny started DJing on his own in bars and clubs across London

. Venues include: Escape Bar and Art in Herne Hill, Bar Aquum in Clapham, Shoreditch House (supporting Vula from Basement Jaxx and Sam Sparro), Soho House Basement Bar and Roof Bar, Smith's of Smithfield and The Luxe. In recent years, Danny has played at several Back In The Day nights with host Oli Jackson (Slimson) and many weddings and corporate parties, including supporting bands like Natalie Williams Soul Family. He has also been the winter resident DJ at Evolution London for 6 consecutive years (returning for the 2021/22 season) where clients have included: Microsoft, Shell, Deloitte, ITV and more. He has also had the pleasure of supporting Annie Mac, Rudimental, Billy Oceon, Level 42, Norman Jay and Stereophonics. Danny also has many residencies via his booking agent, Euphonica: Bill’s Restaurant & Bar (Soho, Westfield Shepherd’s Bush and Victoria), Swinger’s Crazy Golf Club (City), Skylight Tobacco Dock and Skylight Peckham. Corporate venues include: The Landsdowne Club, The Troxy, St Pancras Rennaiscance Hotel and Skylight Tobacco Dock (all in London).

We love going to where my Mum spent her summers growing up in her homeland, seeing my bon vivre Uncle Gordan and cousin Jasmine and her family, swimming in the best water on the planet (seriously!), staying in the most stunning rental we’ve ever had in Lun, jaw dropping sunsets, seafood lunches on the waters edge, laughs and most importantly after working so hard as usual, total relaxation.

I’m always thankful that we’re able to actually have regular holidays as I know so many people just can’t and would give anything to jump on a plane and get in the sun/sea.

Samba!! 🥁🥁🇧🇷💃

What a pleasure playing at Kitty and Phil’s wedding last night.

They both met at a samba drum class and their group got together on the night and smashed it (literally!) before I took to the decks.

Really enjoyed weaving in some more Brazilian and Latin vibes amongst some Balearic style disco edits, old school hip hop, pop anthems and heavy rock near the end (always fun when you see the crowd react to the mash up of Back in Black by AC/DC and Stayin’ Alive by The Bee Gees 🎸🪩).

Lovely, friendly staff too.

And big shout out to Layla who left me a take away box of buffet treats to have on the way home! 🥓🌭

Raving it up near the front at Fabio & Grooverider with , cocktails in the sun, seeing smash it on the decks, laughs and the highlight of all highlights: seeing right down in the mosh pit near the front again totally smashing it.

Always nice to jump on my decks at home for a spin as a change to the usual CDJ’s…

So many fond memories (not so much the lugging of records and my shoulder aching on packed night buses!) of playing out with records… the needle on the groove, fingers manipulating the vinyl, so much tactility, even when things went wrong- like records jumping in clubs from drunken punters bashing in to the decks!!

All part of the experience, eh?

Also, so great to see such a resurgence of vinyl out there, especially with the likes of and always .

Even my sis has started DJing and with records too!

Maybe I should start playing out with records again, what do you reckon?

End of the night vibes…

Such a lovely gig playing for Rachel’s 40th!

Love that she wanted mainly funk, soul and disco and no ‘end of wedding songs like Mr Brightside’.

Such a nice crowd and such a great vibe.
