I have been really focused on practicing illustration without lines, so it’s been a while since I’ve done any lineart work. I had forgotten how easily you can get definition and boldness with line. It’s so easy that it almost seems lazy. But it’s not. It’s just a different style that I also have to practice. That’s the only way to get better.

When I was younger I used to draw a lot of fantastic characters (mainly elves and warlocks🔮) as I was really into World of Warcraft (ahhh... those good old days just fishing around Azeroth🎣), so I decided to go for it again with a portrait. Somehow it resembles singer Grace Vanderwaal, but it was absolutely unintentional. It’s funny how sometimes you just draw some random person and they end up looking like someone you know. Or when you are just drawing and someone comes up and asks “who’s that?” And you are there like “I don’t know?”.

So yeah, after trying Procreate some more I’m absolutely in love with it! I feel that now I can finally get the quality that I was looking for in my illustrations. Now I really feel professional. Yay!

Everything in this illustration is my original atrwork, just some random girl’s face that I decided to do. However, I used ones of colour palettes as I’m still really bad with that! She is always a great inspiration so go check her if you haven’t already!✨
