While the judges are picking the shortlist for The Hari Art Prize 2026, let’s meanwhile take a look at our current show in the hotel. Curated in collaboration with Cramer St Gallery, HAMLET (noun. A small village, usually without a church) features a diverse variety of expressions and moods. Like a community of craftspeople working collectively to maintain a place. A collective coloured by the personal. Across sculpture, painting, textile, and drawing, there’s something for everyone to commune with.

Today we’re looking at the work of Jake Vanden Berge who’s currently exhibiting in Myo Piccadilly as part of our show with LBF. His paintings feel like vignettes of multiple narratives unfolding simultaneously. The panel-like structure of these paintings are situated somewhere between memory, cinema, and archival images.

Happy belated birthday to Gered Mankowitz | Photographer who turned 80 yesterday. It was such a pleasure working with him and Iconic Images on our show IT GETS LOUD at ME London. This shot of The Yardbirds in Mason’s Yard is one of our favourite as it marks that very brief period where both Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page were in the band. Talk about being in the right place at the right time. The framing, the swagger, the threads, these are only some of the reasons this photograph is also in the National Portrait Gallery.
Once again, happy birthday to one of the most storied photographers around; they don’t make em’ like they used to.

We’d like to introduce you to some of the previous winners of The Hari Art Prize. Each face here has received £10,000 and we’d love to see you on the list this time next year. The winners hail from art colleges from all across the country such as London, Glasgow, and Bath. Medium and size doesn’t matter either, as last year’s winning piece is perhaps the smallest we’ve had so far. What matters is the willingness to push the boundaries of your artistic practice.

Some of the winners describe being in a very confusing time of their lives or being on the brink of giving up their artistry until the award imbued them with a strong sense of clarity and self-confidence. We want to give artists the means to expand their practice to match their ambitions. The winner receives £10,000 while the two runner-ups each get £2,000.

CALLING ALL ART STUDENTS! Applications for The Hari Art Prize are open until the 1st of July. Free to enter and open to all mediums. If you’re currently studying at a UK art school or have graduated from one within the last five years, send us your submissions.

A Space for Art and The Hari’s annual celebration of the current artistic generation seeks to platform the talent that’s so widespread. Apart from a £10,000 cash prize for the winner and £2000 for each of the two runner-ups, the twenty shortlisted artists will have their work exhibited for six months in the beautiful lobby of The Hari in Belgravia.

To celebrate “IT GETS LOUD”, our exhibition of in collaboration with at , we visited the locations where some of the photographs from this show were originally shot. The circumstances may have changed but the energy still remains. So many moments from music’s most loud and raucous era are right under our noses in London.

Our group show “VISTAS” is currently open at Myo, 3 New Street Square. Done in collaboration with the Essential School of Painting, we’ve platformed graduates from their year-long advanced abstract painting course.

Through this show, forms simultaneously dissolve and emerges. There’s a subtle landscape quality to these works, not just in their appearance but the feeling of expansiveness they elicit. Myo New Street Square’s bright and airy interiors carry this feeling further, letting the artworks breathe like the breeze.
