Our featured artist today is Katie Tomlinson whose vividly dreamlike paintings are currently hanging in our group show JUNCTIONS in Myo King’s Cross. Through two Hari Art Prize shortlists and now this exhibition, we can’t get enough of Katie’s works. Ambiguous and theatrical narratives are constructed in her works which through a q***r feminist lens interrogate how femininity is controlled, performed, and represented. Wildly colourful and with the pleasing texture of soft candy, her works look good no matter what kind of wall you put them on.

We’re thrilled to announce our most recent exhibition at Labombe by Trivet in collaboration with INCUBATOR. LUMINESCENCE brings together the works of female artists who come from different corners of the world but call London one of their homes. Luminescence describes the emission of light without heat which is an apt reflection of this collection as each of the artists are in an exciting point of their career, possessing a light and energy uniquely their own.

PART 2/2.

We’re so thrilled to finally announce our shortlist for The Hari Art Prize 2026. These twenty-one artists demonstrate consummate skill and a conceptual experimentation which makes their practice stand out. With over 1400 submissions you all broke last year’s record of applications, giving us a vast sample of the talent out there. Which made the task of picking the shortlist even harder considering the high calibre of submissions.

Those who didn’t make it this year, don’t be discouraged as there is always next year. Keep doing what you’re doing and push your practice to new heights. We want to see more of you!

We’re so thrilled to finally announce our shortlist for The Hari Art Prize 2026. These twenty-one artists demonstrate consummate skill and a conceptual experimentation which makes their practice stand out. With over 1400 submissions you all broke last year’s record of applications, giving us a vast sample of the talent out there. Which made the task of picking the shortlist even harder considering the high calibre of submissions.

While the judges are picking the shortlist for The Hari Art Prize 2026, let’s meanwhile take a look at our current show in the hotel. Curated in collaboration with Cramer St Gallery, HAMLET (noun. A small village, usually without a church) features a diverse variety of expressions and moods. Like a community of craftspeople working collectively to maintain a place. A collective coloured by the personal. Across sculpture, painting, textile, and drawing, there’s something for everyone to commune with.

Today we’re looking at the work of Jake Vanden Berge who’s currently exhibiting in Myo Piccadilly as part of our show with LBF. His paintings feel like vignettes of multiple narratives unfolding simultaneously. The panel-like structure of these paintings are situated somewhere between memory, cinema, and archival images.

Happy belated birthday to Gered Mankowitz | Photographer who turned 80 yesterday. It was such a pleasure working with him and Iconic Images on our show IT GETS LOUD at ME London. This shot of The Yardbirds in Mason’s Yard is one of our favourite as it marks that very brief period where both Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page were in the band. Talk about being in the right place at the right time. The framing, the swagger, the threads, these are only some of the reasons this photograph is also in the National Portrait Gallery.
Once again, happy birthday to one of the most storied photographers around; they don’t make em’ like they used to.
