Dear Audience, it is my pleasure to introduce you to our director extraordinaire! Tracy Collier has been a Director and Choreographer since 1984 and a professional actor
since 1979. Her directorial work has included Shakespeare plays, Musical Theatre, Physical
Theatre and, strangely, Radio. She has also created her own work with her company
Time4Change Theatre. Her most recent work has been directing The Winter’s Tale and
Cinderella for the Corbett Theatre, Legally Blonde at the Playground Theatre and a new play,
The Vegan Tigress, which had a short run in London last year and was nominated for best
new play. She choreographed Guys and Dolls and My Fair Lady for Frinton Summer
Theatre and also directed Annie Get Your Gun for their tent productions. Other ventures
include a new play with music Vengeance, the story of Oscar Wilde which completed a short
tour, The Show Queen and Christmas Carol for the Corbett Theatre, The Laundry at the
Drayton Arms, a schools tour of A Pocket Full of Grimms, Arthur Miller’s translation of
Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People, Tennessee William’s Camino Real and Noel Coward’s Semi-
Monde and Jane Eyre at the Bridewell Theatre in London. Other directorial credits include;
Air Swimming, Man Equals Man, Merrily We Roll Along, Dames at Sea, Follow the Star,
Godspell, Lucky Stiff, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Best Little Wh******se in Texas, Jack
the Ripper, Happy as a Sandbag, Guys and Dolls and Silence: A Language. Choreographic
credits of note include; Romeo and Juliet, Vivat,Vivat Regina, Pride and Prejudice, and A
Gala Concert for Hal Prince. She has also written, directed and choreographed three short
musical plays, Hart to Hart, The Other Side of the Rainbow and The Mitfords.
