Thank you for another amazing year of dancing. Our small but mighty team had the best time throughout half term. So many beautiful pictures captured by congratulations to all our students who competed, we are so proud of each and everyone of you. This was our last qualifier of the season and we can’t wait to take all our dances to regionals in May. Thank you for a fantastic week of adjudicating and for giving our students a wonderful experience and positive feedback. Here are our results!

Congratulations to everyone that danced, sang, performed, participated, won medals, won cups and qualified. It has been a mammoth but wonderful 4 weekends and I am so proud of all of our competitive team. Thank you to for another fantastic festival. ✨About Miss Jasmine✨

Jasmine was born and raised in Brighton where she attended a local dance school and worked her way through the RAD Ballet and ISTD Modern Grades as well as taking classes in Street Dance. At the age of 12 she stared exploring the contemporary dance genre with the Brighton CAT Satellite, this led to her joining Trinity Laban’s CAT Scheme at the age of 15. During this time, she also competed internationally with the HipHop crew ‘Novalux’ and performed across the UK with the youth contemporary dance company ‘Penny and Joules’.

At the age of 18, she successfully auditioned for Trinity Laban, gaining a first class honours degree in Contemporary Dance. Here she explored a range of contemporary dance styles as well as her own
choreography practice. During her three years, she worked with a range of choreographers such as Mathew Bourne, Mathew Harding, Kennedy Muntanga and SAY dance company. This led to many performance opportunities across the UK such as Dancers Delight and Move It.

Since graduating Jasmine has continued performing professionally however her main focus is now on choreography and teaching. Jasmine has been a committed faculty member of TEAM since 2023 teaching a range of classes including Contemporary, Modern Jazz, Stretch and Body Conditioning as well as preparing students for exams and competitions. Miss Jasmines classes are always high energy, technical and fun and adored by all who attends.

We are delighted to announce that Amelia, Eliana and Zizha, three gorgeous home grown ballet dancers have all been nominated by the examiner from their recent Ballet examinations to participate and compete in the 2026 International Theatre Dance Awards in Manchester in the genre of Classical Ballet.

Outstanding work ladies, we are so proud of you all and look forward to watching you all in what is a wonderful opportunity.

✨Meet Miss Charlotte ✨

Charlotte is a teacher and performer having trained young performers around the country for a number of years. With experience teaching dance across genres, syllabus, competition work, vocal technique and performance skills, her students have performed leading roles in the West End, UK and world tours and Royal Opera House as well as gaining places at top UK drama schools including ArtsEd, Guildford School of Acting, Mountview, Emil Dale Academy, Rose Bruford, Italia Conti and Bird College. With a background in opera, dance and Musical theatre.

Charlotte trained at ArtsEd and LAMDA in musical theatre and has worked as a performer, most recent credits include The Wicked Movie, Logainne in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Thea/Wendla in Spring awakening and Leisl Von Trapp in The Sound of Music.

We are so pleased to have Charlotte on board and can’t wait to watch her help the aspiring young performers at TEAM Dance Academy on their journey to doing what they love.

💫We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have once again received a 100% pass mark in our Summer Examinations 💫

Congratulations to all that took their Ballet, Tap and Modern exams. Your hard work and dedication has paid off and been rewarded.

It was an outstanding examination session with 98 exams taken resulting in 66 Distinctions & 32 Merits.

Thank you to all our teachers who prepared the students so professionally, the feedback from the examiners was wonderful on our presentation, preparation, performance and technical ability.

A special congratulations to the following students who gained the highest mark across each subject.

Ballet - Isla L & Zizha - Distinction with 93

Modern - Phoebe & Amelie A - Distinction with 89

Tap - Marian & Zizha - Distinction with 91

We look forward to once again prepare for our next exam session at Easter 2026.
